Outpatient Rehab in Ohio

Outpatient rehab at The Recovery Village Columbus can help you or a loved one schedule your recovery around your work, school and life commitments.

What Is Outpatient Rehab?

Outpatient drug and alcohol rehab involves scheduled visits with our addiction treatment providers, including therapists, social workers and doctors. You’ll visit the facility for treatment at hours that work with your schedule, then return home. Outpatient rehab is a lower-cost, flexible option, but clients are completely responsible for their sobriety while not in treatment.

Is outpatient rehab right for me?

If these apply to you, outpatient rehab could be a good fit for you.

About Our Outpatient Care Program

Outpatient rehab can help clients transition to their day-to-day life after inpatient treatment, or it can be the first level of care for people with milder addictions.

You’ll address the root of your addiction in one-on-one sessions with your counselor, build fellowship and support in group therapy, and receive high-quality medical care on your schedule so you can keep working, going to school or caring for your family.

What we offer

  • A safe, substance-free environment

  • Treatment for co-occurring disorders

  • Expert medical care

  • Medication management

Within Recovery Village, I felt like they really cared about each client; from the counselors, BHT’s, the administrators, even the cooks and custodial staff. It wasn’t a job but a passion for them. I don’t think you find that most places.

Our Process

What You Can Expect in Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient Rehab Emphasizes:

While attending outpatient rehab, many individuals remain immersed in their daily life and responsibilities, including keeping a job and tending to their family’s needs. This kind of care involves scheduled part-time therapy sessions at The Recovery Village Columbus. For those with a fairly mild drug or alcohol problem, weekly appointments may suffice, while those with more deeply rooted addictions may opt for daily therapy. Regardless of frequency and intensity of treatment.

PAYING FOR TREATMENT

Using Insurance for Outpatient Rehab

Most national and local insurance providers are in-network with The Recovery Village Palmer Lake. We’re equipped to validate your insurance coverage or talk about private payment options with you.

FAQs About Outpatient Rehab

Who needs outpatient addiction treatment?

A good candidate for outpatient rehab is:

  • In good health
  • Living with a strong support system at home
  • Fully committed to a recovery plan

While effective, this kind of therapy isn’t for everyone. An inpatient or partial hospitalization program will be better suited for you if:

  • You suffer from a long-term or severe addiction.
  • You’ve been to rehab before but haven’t followed through with it.
  • Your home environment is unstable or not conducive to recovery.
  • You have a complex, co-occurring disorder along with your addiction.

How long outpatient rehab takes varies from person to person. However, most clients complete their outpatient rehab program in 1–3 months or up to a year.

Medical detox is not provided in outpatient rehab. People who need medical detox can complete this program separately before starting inpatient or outpatient care.

Yes, outpatient rehab has helped many people recover from addiction. Substance use disorders cannot be “cured”, but recovery is possible. Our patients’ physical and mental health, relationships with loved ones, safety, legal status, employment or educational status, and relapse time often improve significantly after their care with us.

No, finding transportation to get to and from outpatient rehab appointments is the patient’s responsibility.

Insurance may cover some or all of outpatient rehab costs. Copays and meeting deductibles may still be involved. The Recovery Village Columbus also help people without insurance develop an affordable payment plan.

Several laws are in place that protect employees when they attend detox and rehab.

Wonderful experience
Caring staff
Plenty of resources
Food is decent
Would recommend to anyone looking to get better and make a change
Tawnie was the first person I spoke to before, and she was incredible. I've never had anyone. Give me such honest advice about real world life struggles and addiction. I love this place. Every other place just wants the song of the dance. Just to get your insurance or money. But talking to Tawnie for a while proved that is not necessarily always true comment. And there is help out there. And there are people who truly do care about you. Thanks Tawnie! God bless. And to everyone who is struggling do not ever give up. You will always be in my prayers.
The greatest experience any client could ever ask for and the educational program is exceptional.
Friendly staff, they are very helpful! I would recommend Recovery village for anyone struggling with addiction or mental health issues.
From the moment I contacted Recovery Village they have been nothing but kind and accepting and helpful. Everything has gone very smoothly and quite quickly and I don’t know that I would change anything.
Great experience! I learned so much to help me in life going forward and the staff and doctors was very kind and knowledgeable which made the experience even better.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about the time I spent at Recovery Village. I'm currently 228 days sober. The entire staff was amazing. At no time did I feel like I was in my battle alone. I would love to return and volunteer, and tell my story. As I said before. You will not find a better staff to help you. I was able to learn something from each counselor. The BHT'S were also amazing. Recovery Village. Thank you for a better life. If I can ever give back. Please let me know!!!
What can I say besides The Recovery Village saved my life. Superheroes like Sonya, Sausabel, Brittany, Terri, Najee, Phil, Denise, Beth, Jordan & Judy all made my stay manageable. I am now able to reinvent myself and become Victoria 4.0. Would highly recommend to anyone in the struggle. ❤️
The recovery village provided me with excellent mental health treatment! All the staff and personal were very kind, professional, and held each patient with the upmost respect. The center was an open place to share and it encouraged me to open up and heal within its walls. Thank you for helping me get my life back!
Mia Parks had a wonderful connection with me. She was very intentional with her presence on the call and made sure I was heard and at home. The peace and understanding was the encouragement needed to know I can do this with support of my family and the program.
A place where they truly care about their patients. Your care is never overlooked it's always the pinpoint.
This place was a tremendous blessing. The people and staff were warm and gracious. Nowhere is perfect, but I would recommend this place to any friend or loved one. Don’t be afraid, change is possible. 🙏🏽
The Recovery Village Village is an amazing place that provided me with a real opportunity to change my life for the better. If you are ready for change, the staff at RVC will go above and beyond to help you achieve your goals. RVC has THE BEST peer support in the field! Luke is the soul of this facility and works miracles for the clients on a daily basis. This place wouldn’t be the same without his kindness and dedication to helping others enter recovery. Judy and Jordan were also always willing to go above and beyond to provide me with the support and tools that i needed to make life-long changes so i can be the best version of myself. I can’t say enough good things about this facility and its staff. If you take the first step and ask for help, RVC will help take you the rest of the way. Thank you all so much for the love and support that i needed to get where i am today!

With love,

“Scooter” Bill Rhinehart
